Jack Baker Rotary Park, situated along the Rio Grande south of T or C’s Hot Springs Historic District, is a day-use park offering covered picnic sites and a short walking path along the river. It is a stopping point on the Wetlands Trail section of the Healing Waters Trail.
When river flow is sufficient, Rotary Park is the pickup and drop-off location for Rio Grande River Trips, and it serves as HQ for the annual T or C Desert Ultra.
The entrance to the park is on Riverside between Daniels and Foch Streets.
Bird sightings are frequent, and season-dependent you may spot herons, egrets, ducks, red-winged blackbirds, turkey vultures, crows, doves, quail, hawks, and many other bird species. Check out a list on the e-bird hotspot website.
