We got some great “Spaceport news” this week! New Mexico’s Governor, Susana Martinez, announced on May 7 that Space Exploration Technologies Corporation (SpaceX) inked a 3-year lease with Spaceport America.
SpaceX is the creator of “Grasshopper” – a rocket that is able to return to the launch pad intact for a vertical landing, rather than burning up upon reentry in the Earth’s atmosphere.
