Desert View offers newly remodeled rooms that are quiet, clean, comfortable, smoke free, and charming. Each has a private entrance but due to the historic nature of the hotel, doorways are not wheelchair accessible.
The hotel is located minutes from Elephant Butte Lake and T or C’s historic hot water district. Parking outside rooms and in an adjacent parking lot is free. Exterior (110/115) electric plug-ins are available for boats, etc.
Pets
Most rooms are dander-free, but specified rooms are available for guests traveling with well-behaved, leashed dogs. A small dog enclosure is available on the premises, as are pooper-scoopers and bags to make clean-up easy for patrons.
Office hours are 8am-noon and 3pm to 8pm. Call to arrange after-hours or contactless check-ins. Quiet hours are observed daily from 8:30pm to 8:00am.
