Luxurious accommodations await at The Hacienda, located on Ted Turner’s 360,000-acre property in eastern Sierra County. Amenities at the Hacienda include private chefs and activity guides, desert landscape views and hikes, star-gazing at night under dark skies, and potential sightings of bison, pronghorn sheep and desert bighorn sheep.
A special feature of the ranch: The Bat Cave, a huge underground cavern housing one of the largest populations of Mexican free-tailed bats in the United States.
The Hacienda offers four guest rooms, including a master suite with a king-sized bed and a step-up jetted tub. Two more king bedrooms and a double-queen bedroom are also available. Guests have free use of the Santa Fe style kitchen, oversized dining area and living room, a separate breakfast room, a game room with a pool table that converts into a ping-pong table, a bar, reading and entertainment areas, and fitness and massage spaces.
The courtyard includes a fountain, fire pit and an outdoor kitchen.
