Experience the Argentinian custom of milonga — a tango party for social dancing. The event is organized by tango instructor Graham Stanford, owner of Puerta al Tango in Albuquerque, along with his students who will be visiting T or C for a soak / tango weekend.
Show up at 4pm for a free lesson in tango. The dance is from 5-7. Not a dancer? Spectators are welcome. Donations are encouraged and the la gorra (a donation hat) will be passed, so bring cash!
Develop your skills earlier in the afternoon, when back-to-back tango classes begin at 11am.
