Kayaking and Native Star Program

caballo lake state park entrance

Join Southwest Expeditions for night kayaking on Caballo Lake followed by a Native American & Greek night sky interpretation.

Guests will be fitted out with life jackets, kayaks, and paddles for this evening adventure. The group will paddle out onto the lake with guides and then paddle together for about an hour along the shore before heading back to the base camp for the night-sky interpretation program plus “Vino & Cibo,” (wine & hors D’oeuvres) while a Navajo Native Interpretive guide speaks about Native Archeoastronomy.

Cost to participate is $89 for single seat kayaks or $170 two-seat kayaks or canoes. Or bring your own canoe and pay $75 for a single or $150 for a 2-seater.
