Join in a fun women-only paddle on peaceful Caballo Lake, with a separate class of “Yogalates“ to get you started, all happening in the great outdoors!
Meet at the dock/main boat ramp for a sign in and brief safety talk, then follow Pilates / yoga instructor Amanda Dominguez in a 40-minute “Yogalates” session on the beach.
Not sure what “Yogalates“ is? It’s a fun, low-impact fusion of Pilates and yoga designed for all levels. Begin by connecting to the breath and gently waking up the deep core muscles before moving into a Pilates-inspired sequence focused on core strength, stability, balance, and full-body strength. You’ll build heat and energy while working the muscles that support strong, functional movement without high-impact exercises.
From there, we’ll transition into a flowing yoga sequence designed to open the body, improve mobility, and release tension. We’ll finish with a few slower stretches and mindful breathing, leaving you feeling strong, refreshed, and ready for your next adventure!
Whether you’re brand new to Pilates and yoga or have an established practice, this all-levels class offers options to meet your body where it is. Come ready to move, breathe, have fun, and leave feeling longer, stronger, and more connected.
After your Yogalates session on the beach, grab your paddles, life jacket and kayak or canoe and follow our guides out on the water.
Our lead interpretive guide will have you paddle along the banks of the lake, paddling into small coves along the way to stop and talk about the wildlife, the amazing bird watching in the area, the lake and history of the local area.
This is an easy pace excursion onto the lake, with stops in and along the coves.
Cold bottled water will be provided on the paddle.
You will paddle out for about one hour, and back for one hour before returning to the base camp.
Fresh fruits, chips & salsa, and yummy desserts will be available, along with sodas, cold bottled water and hot coffee and teas. Grab your snacks and drinks and sit in the camp chairs provided on the beach and relax!
After a leisurely lunch, we will break base camp and bid you farewell!
