Learn traditional music and dance during this unique, immersive 3-day music camp dedicated to the rich traditions of New Mexican folk music. Open to adult musicians of all levels, the camp blends musical skill-building with cultural enrichment in a supportive, community-focused setting.
Planned sessions include:
- New Mexican Folk Dance taught by Lucy Salazar
- New Mexican Folk Dance Musical Accompaniment taught by Rosie Hutchinson
- Southwest Fiddle Tunes taught by Kateri Lopez
- New Mexico Folk Songs taught by Lara Manzanares
Hone your skills playing guitar and violin, practicing vocal techniques, and participating in folk ensemble combined with dance.
