Shattuck Vineyard first planted grapes in 2008 and was making wine by 2011. The current selection includes Consequence of Zinfandel, ArRey of Chardonnay, Caballo Cabernet Sauvignon, Seco Creek Red, and Percha Creek Red.
A tasting room next to the vineyard has seating inside and on the patio. Pull up a chair to sit with a glass and enjoy the view of the Caballo mountains and the lake, one of the finest in Sierra County! Light appetizers are available, or visitors are welcome to bring their own food to pair with wine. A small selection of New Mexico craft beers and nonalcoholic beverages are also available.
