Light up Second Saturday Art Hop and celebrate the roll-out of the new multi-use bike lane with a glowing group ride on traditional bikes, e-bikes, and scooters! Led by Mayor Rolf Hechler, the group ride begins at dusk. Meet at Bikewyrks (Broadway at Pershing) at 7pm for a safety presentation prior to roll out.
Bike Safety / Illumination Workshop
Prior to the ride, join a bike safety and illumination workshop will be held at the Pelican Spa courtyard (next to Bikewyrks) from 3:30 to 5:30pm. Light kits will be available for local youth on a first-come, first-serve basis. Sign up for the workshop at Ingo’s Art Cafe by Saturday, April 5th.
All ages are welcome in the community group bike ride; helmets are required for riders under 18. Hosted by Bikewyrks and sponsored by A.C.T (501c3 nonprofit).
$5–$10 suggested donation to participate. All proceeds go to A.C.T.
