Truth or Consequences Civic Center

The Civic Center, located about three blocks north of downtown TorC, is a multi-purpose venue. Plenty of room is available for events including the annual quilt show. A stage for theater productions and concerts is available in the Ralph Edwards Auditorium. Floor and tiered seating can accommodate hundreds.
There’s a kitchen on-site, but event planners are asked to cater food in and use the kitchen within limits. A picnic license (contact the City Clerk’s Office for info) is required for groups that want to serve alcohol as part of an event. Plenty of grassy lawn is available in front. Other meeting rooms are adjacent.
Classes:
Drop in on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11-12. It’s free! The class is held in a large space, and when weather allows, moves outdoors to the lawn, making use of the Civic Center’s shade trees.
Meeting Space Details:
Stage with lighting system; overhead projector; 12′ x 12′ screen, PA system for rent.
