Artists from all over the world have visited the Damsite for its secluded retreat-style residencies. Accommodations are available for between 2 and 5 artists at a time. The application process begins in June for self-guided residencies starting every October.

The cabins that house artists were constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1940. Each is equipped with bedding and linens, and includes a large kitchenette with cook-tops, microwaves, refrigerators and coffee makers.
